What is the inner diameter of the scaffold steel pipe

The current mainstream scaffold steel pipe standards are British and Japanese standards:

1. British standard refers to steel pipes (welded pipes or seamless pipes) with an outer diameter of 48.3mm
The shelf tube has two sizes:
Q235 / Q345, 48.3*3.2mm*6000mm
Q235 / Q345 48.3*4.0mm*6000mm

Due to the universal use of British Standards in the world, these two rack tubes are currently widely used in countries around the world. According to the allowable tolerance range, other rack tube thicknesses evolved from the above dimensions: 2.75mm, 3.0mm, 3.6mm, 3.75mm, 3.8mm, etc.

2. The Japanese standard refers to a steel pipe with an outer diameter of 48.6mm
According to JIS G3444-2006 standard, the size of scaffold steel pipe is: STK400/STK500 48.6*2.4mm*6000mm (derived size 2.1-2.7mm)

Scaffolding made of steel pipes has requirements for the thickness of steel pipes. For safety reasons, you must pay attention to choosing suitable products and beware of safety issues.
