1. The materials for erecting disc scaffolding must be inspected and qualified. Disc scaffolding rods, connectors, and fasteners with defects such as deformation and cracks are strictly prohibited from use. The fasteners and connectors of disc scaffolding are strictly prohibited. Repairs by welding are not allowed.
2. The basic ground of the disc-type scaffolding must be flat, compacted, and hard, and its metal base plate must be flat without any deformation. When the ground is soft, a sweeping pole or pad must be used to increase the stress surface and increase stability.
3. All disc-type scaffolding must be erected by relevant standards and regulations (disc-type scaffolding must be horizontal and vertical, and the span and spacing must meet the specification requirements). No matter how high the disc scaffolding is erected, instability is not allowed.
4. The springboards on the disc-type scaffolding must be laid neatly, and the width and length should be consistent (except for special parts). The springboard on any disc-type scaffolding must be firmly fixed, and there must be no large holes on the platform surface (except for special parts).
5. The disc-type scaffolding working platform must have safety guardrails with a height of 910 mm-1150 mm. The working platform should be kept clean.
6. Disc-type scaffolding must be equipped with up and down-ladders.
7. The erection of disc-type scaffolding for high-altitude operations must be inspected and approved by HSE supervisors, and can only be used after passing the inspection.
8. It is strictly forbidden to overload the disc-type scaffolding, and the welding wires and grounding wires are strictly prohibited from being placed on the steel disc-type scaffolding. Avoid working on intersections under disc scaffolding as much as possible.
9. Before construction, a pre-shift safety speech should be conducted, and safety briefings should be given to team members based on the day’s construction tasks.
10. If the disc-type scaffolding fails to operate by safety regulations and causes an accident, the amount of punishment will be determined according to the severity of the accident.
