Understanding of bowl-hook scaffolding

1. Bowl-hook node: a cap-fixed connection node composed of upper and lower bowl-hook, limit pin, and horizontal rod joint.

2. Vertical pole: a vertical steel pipe member with a movable upper bowl welded with a fixed lower bowl hook and a vertical connecting sleeve.

3. Upper bowl hook: a bowl-shaped fastener that slides up and down along the vertical pole and acts as a locking device.

4. Lower bowl-hook: a bowl-shaped fastener welded and fixed on the vertical pole.

5. Vertical pole connecting pin: a pin used for the vertical socket connection of the vertical pole.

6. Limit pin: a positioning pin welded and fixed on the vertical pole for locking the upper bowl hook.

7. Horizontal pole: a horizontal steel pipe member with connecting plate joints welded on both sides, connected to the vertical pole through the upper and lower bowl hook.

8. Horizontal pole joint: a curved plate-shaped connector welded at both ends of the horizontal pole.

9. For adjustable supports and adjustable bases, when solid screws are used, their materials shall comply with the provisions of Q235 grade steel in the current national standard “Carbon Structural Steel” GB/T700: When hollow screws are used, their materials shall comply with the provisions of No. 20 seamless steel pipe in the current national standard “Seamless Steel Pipe for Structure” GB/T8162.

10. Adjustable supports and adjustable base adjustment nut castings shall be made of carbon cast steel or forgeable cast iron, and their materials shall comply with the provisions of ZG230-450 in the current national standard “Casting Carbon Steel Parts for General Engineering” GB/T11352 and KTH330-08 in “Forgeable Cast Iron Parts” GB/T9440.

11. Adjustable support U-shaped support plates and adjustable base pads shall be made of carbon structural steel, and their materials shall comply with the provisions of According to the provisions of Q235 grade steel in GB/T3274 “Hot-formed thick steel plates and strips for carbon structural steel and low alloy structural steel”.

12. The thickness of the adjusting nut shall not be less than 30mm; the outer diameter of the screw shall not be less than 38mm, the wall thickness of the hollow rod shall not be less than 5mm, and the diameter and pitch of the screw shall comply with the provisions of the current national standards “Trapezoidal thread Part 2: Diameter and pitch series” GB/T5796.2 and “Trapezoidal thread Part 3: Basic dimensions” GBT5796.3; the meshing length of the screw and the adjusting nut shall not be less than 5 turns; the thickness of the adjustable support U-shaped support plate shall not be less than 5mm, the bending deformation shall not be greater than 1mm, and the thickness of the adjustable base pad shall not be less than 6mm; the rod and the support plate or pad shall be welded firmly, the weld leg size shall not be less than the thickness of the steel plate, and a stiffening plate shall be provided.
