To prevent scaffolding collapse accidents

1. Special construction technical plans should be compiled for scaffolding used in multi-story and high-rise buildings; floor-standing steel pipe scaffolding, cantilevered scaffolding, portal scaffolding, hanging scaffolding, attached lifting scaffolding, and hanging baskets with a height of more than 50m Scaffolding, etc. should also undergo special structural design and calculation (calculation of bearing capacity, strength, stability, etc.).

2. Operators who erect and dismantle scaffolding must undergo special training and hold a certificate to work.

3. The materials, fasteners, and shaped components used for erecting scaffolding should all comply with national quality standards. It should be inspected and accepted before use. If it does not meet the requirements, it is not allowed to be used.

4. The scaffolding structure must be erected by national standards and design requirements. Set scissor braces and tie them with the building by regulations to maintain the allowable verticality and overall stability of the frame; and tie protective railings, vertical nets, pocket nets, and other protective facilities by regulations. There are probe boards and gap boards.

5. Scaffolding erection should be inspected and accepted in sections to ensure that it meets quality and safety requirements. During the construction period, regular and irregular inspections (especially after strong winds, rain, and snow) should be organized to strictly establish a scaffolding use management system.

6. After the installation of the attached lifting scaffolding has been completed and passed the preliminary inspection, it must be inspected by a specialized testing department and a usage certificate can be issued before it can be used.

7. The attached lifting scaffold must have safe and reliable lifting equipment and safety devices such as anti-fall, anti-camber, and synchronous early warning monitoring. Its vertical support main frame and horizontal support frame of the steel structure must be welded or bolted, and buckles are not allowed. The parts are connected to the steel pipe. When raising and lowering the frame, unified command should be carried out, and inspections should be strengthened to prevent collisions, resistance, impacts, and tilting and shaking of the frame. If a danger occurs, stop the machine immediately for investigation.

8. Floor-standing steel pipe scaffolding should be erected in double rows. The vertical pole joint sections should be staggered by one step. The roots should be placed on long pads or supports, and the sweeping poles should be tied according to regulations. The ground supporting the poles should be flat and compacted to prevent the poles from hanging in the air due to the sinking of the foundation.

9. The cantilever beams at the bottom of the cantilevered scaffolding should be made of shaped steel. Use embedded snap rings that meet the strength requirements to firmly fix the cantilever beams on the beam surface or floor. According to the height of the erection frame, use inclined beams according to the design requirements. Pull the wire rope as a partial unloading device.

10. The hanging basket scaffolding should use a stereotyped frame type hanging basket frame. The hanging basket components should be made of steel or other suitable metal structural materials, and its structure should have sufficient strength and stiffness; the lifting basket should use a controlled lifting braking device. Qualified lifting equipment and anti-overturning devices; operators must be trained and certified.

11. The cantilevered material transfer platform used in construction should be designed and calculated. The platform must not be attached to the scaffolding so that the frame is stressed and must be set up independently; the hanging cable-stayed wire ropes on both sides of the platform should be tied to the building to bear stress; the platform load should be strictly limited.

12. All lifting equipment and concrete delivery pump pipes must be effectively isolated and vibrated from the scaffolding during use to prevent the scaffolding from becoming unstable due to vibration and impact.

13. Safety measures should be formulated and explained when dismantling scaffolding. The connecting wall rods should not be dismantled first. They should be dismantled layer by layer from top to bottom in order. A warning zone should be set up at the site where the scaffolding is dismantled.
