First, causes of scaffolding safety hazards
1. The scaffolding is not erected strictly by the scaffolding construction plan (technical disclosure);
2. The inspection and acceptance of the scaffolding are not in place
These hazards mainly exist in the construction preparation stage and human factors, material factors, environmental factors, and management reasons.
Second, human factors.
1. The operator is on duty without a license or the certificate is invalid:
2. The operator has not received relevant safety education and training and safety technical disclosure before the operation;
3. The operator does not use safety protection equipment correctly, the safety protection equipment has no qualified inspection report or is in an invalid state;
4. Arrange people who are not suitable for high-altitude operations such as high blood pressure, heart disease, acrophobia, poor eyesight, etc. to erect and dismantle scaffolding at high altitudes;
Third, material factors.
Mainly, the scaffolding erection does not meet the requirements of the specifications.
First, the deviations of the horizontal distance, vertical distance and step distance of the scaffolding are large; the protection of the operating layer is not standardized; second, the setting of the scissor brace and the wall connection is not standardized; third, the safety protection is not in place; the dense mesh and horizontal net are not firmly set; fourth, the cantilever frame is not set in a standardized manner.
In addition, some scaffoldings are made of inferior materials, the rigidity does not meet the requirements, and no acceptance inspection is carried out before use, resulting in accidents.
Fourth, environmental factors.
1. Scaffolding installation and dismantling operations are carried out in windy weather above level 6, thunderstorm weather, heavy fog, snow, and at night;
2. When installing and dismantling scaffolding, there is no warning area below, and someone passes.
Fifth, management factors.
1. The scaffolding erection and dismantling plan is not comprehensive, and the safety technical disclosure is not targeted, but there is no construction plan on site, or it is not combined with the actual situation of the construction site, and the standards and specifications are copied to deal with the inspection; the safety technical disclosure is not in place and lacks specificity.
2. On the other hand, safety inspections were not in place, and potential accident hazards were not discovered in time. Project managers, full-time safety officers, team leaders, construction workers, etc. at the construction site failed to discover problems in time during various safety inspections or failed to make timely rectifications and corrections after discovering problems, resulting in some accidents.
