Seven factors to consider when choosing scaffolding

When purchasing scaffolding products, you cannot blindly pursue cheapness and ignore quality issues. You must understand that you get what you pay for. After all, high-quality and low-priced products are still relatively rare. So what are the seven factors to consider when choosing scaffolding?

1. Price
Price is a concern for many customers. There are certain differences in the prices of scaffolding produced by each manufacturer. We need to check which manufacturer is more cost-effective and choose a manufacturer with high cost-effectiveness.

2. Material
When purchasing scaffolding, you can choose according to the quantity and specifications you need to purchase, but the choice of material is also important. If the selected material is poor, the quality of the finished scaffolding will not be good. Therefore, when purchasing scaffolding, you must first understand the material of the purchased scaffolding to see if the material is a standard primary steel pipe. In order to lower the market price, many poor small workshops will mix primary steel pipes and secondary steel pipes. There are many safety hazards in using secondary steel pipes. The secondary steel pipe cylinder may crack during the construction process, so the material is very important.

3. Manufacturer’s strength
It is necessary to understand the processing machinery and equipment of the scaffolding manufacturer. The integrity of the equipment determines the production capacity of the manufacturer and the quality of the scaffolding. The number of previous cooperative customers can also reflect the service attitude and strength of the manufacturer from the side.

4. Water absorption rate
The lower the water absorption rate, the better. The detection method is also very simple. Just measure the weight of the scaffolding first, then put the scaffolding in water for a period of time, take it out and weigh it, and compare the weight difference between the two. The weight difference is the weight of the water. If the water absorption rate exceeds the national standard of 12.0%, the scaffolding shall not meet the standard, which is a quality problem.

5. Glaze
Scaffolding glaze cracking is a common phenomenon. The scaffolding with a cracked glaze will lose its glaze after freezing in winter, causing the scaffolding to lose its original gloss and waterproof performance. This aspect of the inspection only needs to check whether there are spider silk-thin cracks on the surface of the scaffolding.

6. Sintering degree
The higher the sintering degree of the bracket, the higher the strength of the bracket. The method used is to knock on the door. The clearer the sound, the better the quality. The national standard bending strength is ≥ 1020n.

7. Manufacturer’s service
The last point is also very important. It depends on whether the scaffolding manufacturer has perfect after-sales service. Although the scaffolding is not easy to be damaged during transportation, if there are quality problems in detail, it is still necessary to contact the manufacturer to solve it, so it is also very important to find a manufacturer with good after-sales service.
