Scaffolding safety net requirements

1. The width of the flat net shall not be less than 3m, the length shall not be greater than 6m, and the height of the vertical net shall not be less than

2. The mesh is set according to the requirements of use, and the maximum should not be less than 10cm. Materials such as vinylon, nylon, nylon, etc. must be used. Damaged or decayed safety nets and polypropylene nets are strictly prohibited.

3. The safety net should be parallel to the horizontal plane or high outside and low inside, generally 15º.

4. The load height of the net generally does not exceed 6m (including 6m). Due to construction needs, it is allowed to exceed 6m, but the maximum shall not exceed 10m, and safety measures such as wire rope buffering must be added.

When the load height is less than 5m (including 5m), the net should extend out of the building (or the most marginal operating point) at least 2.5m. When the load height is above 5m to 10m, it should extend at least 3m.

5. The safety net should not be too tight during installation. After installing the net with a width of 3m and 4m, the width of the horizontal projection is 2.5m and 3.5m respectively.

6. The maximum gap between the safety net plane and the edge of the plane supporting the operator shall not exceed 10cm. The spacing between the slashes of the safety net should not be greater than 4m.

7. After the operation in the protected area stops, it can be dismantled.

8. Demolition must be carried out under the close supervision of experienced personnel.

9. The safety net should be removed from top to bottom. At the same time, other measures to prevent falling and physical shock should be taken according to the site conditions, such as wearing safety belts and safety helmets.
