On construction sites, scaffolding safety is of vital importance. According to the “Construction Scaffolding Safety Technical Unified Standard” (GB 51210-2016), vertical scissor braces must be set on the longitudinal outer facade of the working scaffolding. The following are specific regulations:
1. Scissor brace width: The width of each scissor brace should be between 4 and 6 spans, and should not be less than 6 meters, nor more than 9 meters. The inclination angle of the scissor brace diagonal bar to the horizontal plane should be between 45° and 60°.
2. Erection height: When the erection height is below 24 meters, a scissor brace should be set at both ends of the frame, corners, and in the middle every 15 meters, and set continuously from bottom to top. When the erection height is 24 meters or more, the entire outer facade should be set continuously from bottom to top.
3. Special scaffolding: Cantilever scaffolding and attached lifting scaffolding should be set continuously from bottom to top on the entire outer facade.
These regulations are designed to ensure the stability of the scaffold and the safety of workers. Please strictly follow these safety standards when setting up and using scaffolds.
