Scaffold maintenance method

As an important building construction equipment, scaffolding is prone to rust during long-term work and use. If this happens, safety accidents are prone to occur. Then, how to carry out rust prevention and maintenance for these?

1. Small accessories such as screws, pads, bolts, nuts and so on on the construction fasteners are very easy to lose. Recycling and storage in time when supporting, and timely inspection and acceptance when removing, no messy or random storage, and storage in a dry and clean room, and put it outdoors with sheltering measures.

2. The rods that are bent or deformed should be straightened in time, and the damaged components should be repaired in time, and then put in storage. Try not to let the fastener directly connect with the ground to avoid rust.

3. When cleaning the scaffold fasteners, it is necessary to remove all peeling, water, residual lubricants, etc., and eliminate all dirt that will cause serious wear of the fasteners.

4. Develop a scaffold fastener maintenance service record card, which is used to record the fastener seat number, roll number, rack number, etc., to facilitate tracking of the position of the scaffold fastener in the rolling mill. In addition, data such as the bearing area of the outer ring, the tonnage of rolled products and the working hours of fasteners are regularly updated and recorded clearly.

5. Regularly carry out derusting and anti-rust work on fasteners. For areas with high humidity, apply anti-rust paint once a year. The scaffolding fasteners should be oiled for protection, and the bolts can be galvanized to prevent rust.

6. After each use of the scaffold couplers, wash them with kerosene, and then apply machine oil to prevent rust and other measures.

For the rust removal and anti-rust treatment of accessories, apply anti-rust paint at least once a year in areas with high humidity. Fasteners should be oiled, and bolts should be galvanized to prevent rust.
