The cup-hook scaffolding consists of steel pipe uprights, crossbars, cup-hook joints, etc. Its basic structure and erection requirements are similar to those of the coupler-type steel pipe scaffolding, and the main difference lies in the cup-hook joint. The cup-hook joint consists of an upper cup-hook, a lower cup-hook, a crossbar joint, and a limit pin of the upper cup-hook. Weld the limit pins of the lower cup hook and the upper cup hook on the uprights, and insert the upper cup hook into the uprights. Weld plugs on the cross bars and diagonal bars. When assembling, insert the cross bars and diagonal bars into the lower cup hook, press and rotate the upper cup hook, and fix the upper cup hook with the limit pins.
1. The base and the pad should be accurately placed on the positioning line; the pad should be a wooden pad with a length of not less than 2 spans and a thickness of not less than 50mm; the axis of the base should be perpendicular to the ground.
2. The scaffolding should be erected layer by layer in the order of uprights, crossbars, diagonal bars, and wall connectors, and the height of each rise should not exceed 3m. The longitudinal straightness of the bottom horizontal frame should be ≤L/200; the horizontality between the crossbars should be ≤L/400.
3. The erection of the scaffolding should be carried out in stages. The bottom height of the front stage is generally 6 m. After the erection, it must be inspected and accepted before it can be officially put into use.
4. The erection of the scaffolding should rise synchronously with the construction of the building. Each erection height must be 1.5 m higher than the floor to be constructed.
5. The verticality of the full height of the scaffolding should be less than L/500; the maximum allowable deviation should be less than 100mm.
6. When adding cantilever beams inside and outside the scaffolding, only pedestrian loads are allowed within the cantilever beam range, and stacking of materials is strictly prohibited.
7. The wall connection must be set up in the specified position in time with the rise of the shelf height, and it is strictly prohibited to remove it at will.
8. The setting of the working layer shall meet the following requirements: 1) The scaffolding must be fully covered, and the outside shall be equipped with footboards and guardrails; 2) The guardrails can be set up with two horizontal bars at the 0.6m and 1.2m bowl-hook joints of the vertical poles; 3) The horizontal safety net under the working layer shall be set up by the provisions of the “Safety Technical Specifications”.
9. When steel pipe fasteners are used as reinforcements, wall connections, and diagonal braces, they shall comply with the relevant provisions of the “Safety Technical Specifications for Building Construction Fastener Scaffolding” JGJ130-2002.
10. When the scaffolding is erected to the top, technical, safety, and construction personnel should be organized to conduct a comprehensive inspection and acceptance of the entire frame structure to promptly resolve existing structural defects.
