Requirements for safe use of scaffolding

1. When erecting high-rise scaffolding, all materials used must meet quality requirements.
2. The foundation of high-rise scaffolding must be firm, calculated before erection to meet load requirements, and erected by construction specifications, with drainage measures in place.
3. Technical requirements for scaffolding erection should comply with relevant specifications.
4. Various structural measures must be highly valued: scissor braces, tie points, etc. should be set as required.
5. Horizontal closure: Starting from the first step, every one or two steps, scaffolding boards or scaffolding fences should be fully laid. The scaffolding boards should be laid along the length, and the joints should be overlapped and placed on the small crossbars. Empty boards are strictly prohibited. A uniform safety bottom fence should be laid every four steps between the inner uprights and the wall.
6. Vertical closure: From the second step to the fifth step, each step needs to be equipped with a 1.00m high protective railing and footboard or a net on the inner side of the outer row of vertical poles, and the protective pole (net) is fastened to the vertical pole; in addition to the protective railing, all steps above the fifth step should be equipped with safety fences or safety vertical nets; along the street or in densely populated areas, safety fences or safety vertical nets should be installed on the outside from the second step.
7. The scaffolding should be erected more than 1.5m above the top of the building or the operating surface, and additional enclosures should be added.
8. The steel pipes, fasteners, scaffolding boards, and connection points on the erected scaffolding shall not be removed at will. If necessary during construction, it must be approved by the person in charge of the construction site, and effective measures must be taken. After the process is completed, it should be restored immediately.
9. Before the scaffolding is used, the person in charge of the construction site should organize inspection and acceptance, and it can only be used after the acceptance is qualified and the inspection form is filled out. During the construction process, there should be professional management, inspection, and warranty, and settlement observations should be carried out regularly. If abnormalities are found, reinforcement measures should be taken in time.
10. When dismantling the scaffolding, you should first check the connection with the building, and clean up the remaining materials and debris on the scaffolding. From top to bottom, install first and then dismantle, and then install first and then dismantle. The dismantled materials should be uniformly passed down or hoisted to the ground and cleared one step at a time. It is not allowed to use the stepping method, and it is strictly forbidden to throw it down or push (pull) it down.
11. When erecting and dismantling scaffolding, a warning area should be set up and a special person should be assigned to guard. In case of strong winds above level 6 and severe weather, the erection and dismantling of scaffolding should be stopped.
12. Requirements for the foundation. If the foundation is uneven, please use a hedging foot to achieve balance. The foundation must be able to withstand the pressure of the scaffolding and work.
13. Workers must wear safety belts when erecting and working at high altitudes. Please install safety nets around the work area to prevent heavy objects from falling and injuring others.
14. It is strictly forbidden to drop or bump the components and accessories of the scaffolding during transportation and storage; it is strictly forbidden to throw them from a high place when overlapping or disassembling them. When disassembling, they should be operated in order from top to bottom.
15. Pay attention to safety during use. It is strictly forbidden to play and frolic on the scaffolding to prevent accidents.
