Scaffolding is a variety of brackets erected at the construction site for workers to operate and solve vertical and horizontal transportation. Whether the scaffolding is erected in a standardized manner is closely related to construction safety. So, what should be paid attention to when erecting scaffolding at the construction site?
1. The load of the scaffolding shall not exceed 270kg/m2. It can only be used after acceptance and listing. It should be inspected and maintained frequently during use. Scaffolding with a load exceeding 270kg/m2 or special forms should be designed.
2. The scaffolding must be equipped with longitudinal and transverse sweeping rods. The longitudinal sweeping rod should be fixed to the vertical rod at a distance of no more than 200mm from the top of the base with a right-angle fastener. The transverse sweeping rod should also be fixed to the vertical rod close to the bottom of the longitudinal sweeping rod with a right-angle fastener. When the production pole foundation is not at the same height, the longitudinal sweeping rod at the high position must be extended to the low position by two spans and fixed to the vertical rod, and the height difference should not be greater than 1m. The distance from the axis of the pole above the slope to the slope should not be less than 500mm.
3. The steel pipe column should be equipped with a metal base, and the soft geological foundation should be padded with wooden boards or a sweeping rod. The sweeping rod should not be greater than 200mm from the ground.
4. The scaffolding poles should be vertical, the vertical deflection should not exceed 1/200 of the height, and the distance between the poles should not exceed 2 meters.
5. The scaffolding poles should be vertical, the vertical deflection should not exceed 1/200 of the height, and the distance between the poles should not exceed 2 meters.
6. The scaffolding poles should be vertical, the vertical deflection should not exceed 1/200 of the height, and the distance between the poles should not exceed 2 meters.
7. The scaffolding crossbars should be raised and reinforced at the passages and escalators, and should not obstruct the passages.
8. The crossbar step of the cantilever scaffolding is generally 1.2 meters, and diagonal braces should be added. The angle between the diagonal braces and the vertical plane is not more than 30°.
9. To prevent the steel pipe from bending under pressure and the fasteners from sliding off the pipe head, the ends of the intersecting rods are all greater than 10 cm.
10. If there are power lines or electrical equipment at the scaffolding site, safety distance regulations must be met, and power supply measures must be taken during erection and dismantling.
11. During the acceptance of the scaffolding, all components should be inspected for appearance, and the acceptance and listing system should be implemented.
12. Before the scaffolding is erected, the steel pipes, fasteners, bamboo rafts, and iron wires must be inspected. Steel pipes that are severely bent, fasteners that are severely corroded and cracked, and bamboo rafts that are rotten must be scrapped and must not be used.
13. It is prohibited to directly place the scaffolding on the wooden slats of the floor and on the structural parts that have not been calculated for the additional load or to fix the scaffolding and scaffolding boards on a structure that is not very solid (such as railings, steel pipes, etc.).
14. The scaffolding boards and scaffolds should be firmly connected. Both ends of the scaffolding boards should be placed on the crossbars and fixed firmly. Scaffolding boards are not allowed to have joints between spans.
15. Scaffolding boards and ramp boards should be fully laid on the horizontal bars of the rack. On both sides of the ramp, at the end of the ramp, and on the outside of the scaffolding work surface, a 1m high railing should be installed, and an 18cm high guard plate should be added at the bottom.
16. The scaffolding should be equipped with a sturdy ladder to facilitate workers to go up and down and transport materials. When lifting heavy objects with a lifting device, it is not allowed to connect the lifting device to the scaffolding structure.
17. The leader of the scaffolding work should inspect the scaffolding and issue a written certificate before it is allowed to be used. The person in charge of maintenance work should check the condition of the scaffolding and scaffolding boards used every day. If there are defects, they must be repaired immediately.
18. It is strictly forbidden to use wooden barrels, wooden boxes, bricks, and other building materials to build temporary boards instead of regular scaffolding.
19. It is forbidden to pull wires on the scaffolding. When temporary lighting lines must be installed, wooden and bamboo scaffolding should be equipped with insulators and metal tube scaffolding should be equipped with wooden crossbars.
20. When installing metal tube scaffolding, it is prohibited to use bent, flattened, or cracked steel pipes, and the connecting parts of each steel pipe must be intact to prevent tipping or movement.
21. The vertical poles of the metal tube scaffolding must be placed vertically and stably on the pad. The ground must be compacted and leveled before placing the pad. The vertical poles should be covered with column bases, which are made of support bases and steel pipes welded to the bases.
22. The joints of the metal tube scaffolding should be overlapped with each other using special hinges. This hinge is suitable for right angles, acute angles, and obtuse angles (for diagonal braces, etc.). The hinge bolts connecting the various components must be tightened.
23. The scaffolding board must be fixed on the crossbeam of the metal tube scaffolding.
24. When moving the scaffolding, all workers on the scaffolding must get off, and the scaffolding with people working on it is prohibited from moving.
