I believe that everyone is quite concerned about the care and maintenance of scaffolding, so let’s take a look at it together.
1. Rust removal and anti-rust treatment should be carried out on the components of the scaffolding regularly. In areas with high humidity (greater than 75%), anti-rust paint should be applied once a year, and generally should be painted once every two years. Fasteners should be coated with oil, and bolts should be galvanized to prevent rust. When there is no condition for galvanizing, it should be cleaned with kerosene after each use, and then coated with engine oil to prevent rust.
2. Small accessories such as fasteners, nuts, pads, latches, etc. used in scaffolding are easily lost. Excess parts should be collected and stored in time during erection, and should be inspected and accepted in time when dismantling, and should not be left lying around.
3. Tool-type scaffolding (such as gantry frames, bridge frames, hanging baskets, and receiving platforms) needs to be repaired and maintained in time after removal, and must be stored accordingly.
4. Used scaffolding (including components) should be returned to the warehouse in a timely manner and stored in categories. When stacking in the open air, the site should be flat and well-drained, with supporting pads underneath and covered with tarpaulin. Accessories and parts should be stored indoors. All bent or deformed rods should be straightened first, and damaged components should be repaired before they can be stored in the warehouse. Otherwise, they should be replaced.
5. Establish and improve the system for the issuance, recycling, inspection, and maintenance of scaffolding tools and materials. According to the principle of who uses, who maintains, and who manages, implement quota requisition or leasing measures to reduce losses and losses.
As can be seen from the above content, there are many things to pay attention to when using scaffolding. Generally, when purchasing scaffolding, the scaffolding manufacturer will provide relevant instructions for use.
