Scaffolding must be stable and safe, so the requirements for the foundation are relatively strict. What are the general requirements for scaffolding foundation treatment? Regarding this issue, there are many relevant requirements, mainly involving the following aspects. When setting up, it is necessary to strictly follow the regulations to ensure that it meets the relevant requirements.
1) The scaffolding foundation should be flat and compacted;
2) The steel columns of the scaffolding cannot be directly placed on the ground. A base and pad (or wood) should be added. The thickness of the pad (wood) should not be less than 50mm;
3) When encountering pits, the poles should be lowered to the bottom of the pit or a bottom beam should be added to the pit (generally sleepers or steel beams can be used);
4) The scaffolding foundation should have reliable drainage measures to prevent water from soaking the foundation;
5) When there is an excavated trench next to the scaffolding, the distance between the outer pole and the edge of the trench should be controlled: when the height is within 30m, not less than 1.5m; when the height is 30~50m, not less than 2.0m; when the height is above 50m, not less than 2.5m. When the above distance cannot be met, the ability of the soil slope to bear the scaffolding should be calculated. If it is insufficient, retaining walls or other reliable supports can be added to prevent the collapse of the trench wall from endangering the safety of the scaffolding;
6) The bottom pads (boards) of the scaffolding located in the passage should be lower than the ground on both sides, and a cover plate should be added to it to avoid disturbance.
The above requirements for the scaffolding foundation are already quite clear. Each small requirement must be done in accordance with the relevant regulations. Don’t think that there is a problem if one or two items are not done. In fact, you can’t have a fluke mentality. You must be serious and honest to do it.
