How many advantages of the disc-type scaffolding do you know

As a new formwork frame for Chinese bridge subway stations, how many advantages do you have about the disc-type scaffolding? Let’s analyze the four major advantages of disc-type scaffolding from the four aspects of functionality, safety, service life, and space.

1. Wide application of functionality
The disc-type scaffolding adopts a consistent 500mm disc spacing. With its columns, crossbars, and tripods, it can be set up as bridge supports, stage supports, lighting towers, and bridge pier safety ladders with different spans and different cross-sections. The traditional bridge formwork support system is bulky and only applies to special specifications, with great limitations. The disc-type scaffolding can be set up as template supports with different functions to meet the construction requirements of various styles.

2. Good safety factor
The disc-type scaffolding adopts locking connection discs and pins. After the pins are connected, they can be clamped by their weight. Its horizontal and vertical crossbars make each module a fixed triangular lattice structure. The frame is not easy to deform after being subjected to horizontal and vertical forces. The disc-type scaffolding is a complete management system. The scaffolding and the ladder can ensure the stability of the frame and the safety of employees. Therefore, compared with other paved scaffolding, the hook pedal of the disc-type scaffolding has increased the safety factor of the iron frame to a higher level.

3. Long service life
The disc-type scaffolding adopts a unified hot-dip galvanized surface treatment, completely abandoning the surface treatment of painting and spraying. This kind of surface treatment method that does not fall off and rust not only reduces the huge maintenance cost but also has a consistent appearance and beautiful silver-white color, which also improves the brand image of the project. The hot-dip galvanized surface treatment method increases the service life of the seamless steel pipe to 15-20 years.

4. Large space
In the traditional bridge support construction site, the spacing of most cup-shaped scaffolding is 1-2 meters, or even 0.6 meters and 0.9 meters. This shows the disadvantage of lack of space on the construction site. After the erection, the supervisor cannot enter the center of the frame for inspection, and even if something is dropped, it is difficult to take it out. The disc-shaped scaffolding column adopts Q345b low-alloy tool steel, which improves the load-bearing capacity and increases the horizontal distance and spacing of the scaffolding, thereby expanding the construction space of the workers and the inspection space of the supervisor.
