Galvanized steel pipe

Galvanized steel pipe is a technique to improve the corrosion resistance of steel pipe and its beautiful decoration. Currently, the most commonly used method for galvanizing steel pipes is hot-dip galvanizing.

The manufacturing process of seamless steel tubes can be divided into the basic types of hot-rolled (extrusion), cold-rolled (drawn), and hot-expanded steel tubes. According to the manufacturing process, welded pipes can be divided into: straight seam welded steel pipes, submerged arc welded steel pipes, butt-welded butt-welded steel pipes, and heat expanded steel pipes.

The development of steel pipe production technology began with the rise of bicycle manufacturing. Not only is steel pipe used for conveying fluids and powdery solids, exchanging thermal energy, manufacturing machine parts and containers, it is also an economical steel. Manufacturing steel structure grids, pillars and mechanical supports with steel pipes can reduce weight, save 20 to 40% of metal, and realize factory mechanized construction.

Steel pipe has a great relationship with the development of the national economy and the improvement of the quality of human life, far better than other steels. From people’s daily appliances, furniture, water supply and drainage, gas supply, ventilation and heating facilities to the manufacture of various agricultural machinery and appliances, the development of underground resources, guns, bullets, missiles, rockets used in national defense and space are inseparable from steel pipes.
