Scaffolding couplers
Couplers are connections between steel pipes. There are three types of couplers, namely right-angle couplers, rotating couplers, and butt couplers.
1. Right-angle coupler: used to connect two vertically intersecting steel pipes. It relies on the friction between the coupler and the steel pipe to transmit the load.
2. Rotating coupler: used to connect two steel pipes intersecting at any angle.
3. Butt coupler: used to connect two long steel pipes.
Scaffolding steel pipe
Steel pipe is an important part of coupler steel pipe scaffolding, with a weight of 3.97kg per meter and a thickness of 3.6mm. Use together with couplers. Also called a shelf tube.
Scaffolding base and pads
For the pedestal set up at the bottom of the pole, pay attention to the difference between the base and the backing plate. The base is generally welded with steel plates and steel pipes. The base is usually placed on the backing plate, and the backing plate can be either a wooden board or a steel plate.
